Camp Out Autumn 2024

Welcome to the Autumn 2024 Camp Out!

The Camp aims to be a way for people to get together & enjoy some time around the fire, without the formality of a course environment.  If you want to have dinner provided, we’re asking for a donation, which will go to a local charity.

This is not a course so there will be no formal training, however there will be plenty of opportunity to share skills.

There will be a communal fire, where people can cook their own food if they wish.  People are permitted to have their own fires as long as they are raised off the ground and the ground protected (something like a fire blanket under a fire pit).  Firewood is very limited on site so if bringing your own fire, bringing firewood is also recommended.

We have a large camping field, which can fit lots of tents (the grass may need to be flattened a little) and a number of spots for hammocks.  Pitches will be on a first come first served basis but if you book a hammock spot, you’ll be able to hang somewhere!

There is a stream, which can be used for water collection but please bring an appropriate filter.

We have some seating but bringing a comfortable chair is recommended!

Sensible alcohol consumption is allowed.

Toileting is limited to a toilet tent and/or wild wees etc.

Children are allowed but must be closely supervised, there is free-roaming livestock at the site.

Arrival is from 2pm Saturday & departure by 1pm Sunday.
